Story Theatre
Instructor:  Danielle Pecoff

Saturdays, January 21 through February 25, 2012

Central High School in Medford, Room 282

This will be a six-week workshop on basic acting that includes vocal work, theatre games, how to relate to other actors in a scene and performing skills. The class will culminate in the performance of a well-loved folktale.

Actors Exploring
Instructor:  David Salsa

In this 6-week class, participants will discover how to choose and present a monologue. Students will also explore how to develop a scene  with others while learning techniques of acting to advance their abilities within that scene. Taught by David Salsa of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, this workshop will give students a better understanding of how to prepare themselves for the stage.

Musical Theatre:  A to Z

This fast-paced, FUN six-week course taught by OSF actor Liisa Ivary will help students jump into singing/dancing/acting while finding the best material that will showcase their skill levels in musical theater.   Students will work on songs as monologues, dance auditions, callbacks, even cold reading skills and help students feel more confident and prepared for that big audition.
